Top Reasons People Buy New Cars

Why do people buy new cars? Shouldn't we all just drive our clunkers unitl the wheels fall off? What motivates a new car purchase? Could it be safety, comfort, style, image,  convenience and reliability?  These seem to be the forces motivating the vast majority of Americans who decide to buy a new car.  The important thing is to choose the right car and get to the best possible deal for your money.

According to a recent study in Road and Travel Magazine, here are the top reasons people buy a new car, truck, min-van or SUV.

14 Lease on old car is up 4.8%

And the top reason why is...
1 Old car had high mileage 35.2%
